Can Ron Paul Win The Republican Nomination?

As the 2012 election year gets ever closer in the United States, the Republican presidential nomination race is at the forefront of most news agencies topics.

While I consider myself an independent when it comes to most politics, right now I am excited about the potential for Ron Paul to win the Republican nomination and make his bid for the White House against president Obama.

Whether you agree with his politics or not, the one thing that no one can ever say against Ron Paul is the fact that he doesn’t do what he promises. He has been very outspoken

on what he believes in throughout his entire political career and has always followed through with those beliefs even though they are usually not in line with what his fellow politicians stand behind.

The polls show that the most important issue our country is facing right now is the economy. Excessive government spending is a major reason why the economy is in the shape that it is in, and in my mind the only person in the political picture right now that has a chance at changing

things for the better in the long term is Ron Paul.

Barack Obama’s entire 2008 presidential campaign was about “change,” and the American people got behind that message in full force. While I believe Obama has done a fair job as president thus far given the state that the country was in when he came into office, I don’t believe there has been any real “change” to the way the government has been run.

If ever there was a candidate spreading a message of “change,” it is Ron Paul’s detailed plan of getting rid of government waste. After all, how else is change ever going to really occur unless we first get rid of the problem that is big government first?

The American people want change! The only person that has a chance at delivering that change is the person that has been speaking of this change his entire political career, Dr. Ron Paul.
